A quick trip through the Notch today confirmed that winter had arrived. With November temperatures running about ten to fifteen degrees above normal and more sunny days it seemed that we had all summer. December has hit hard. Temperature this morning was right at 10 degrees with the wind chill factor predicted for -15 tonight. We had a "storm" and "flurries" that have led to snow plowing three of the last four days. At least its good for the ski areas as all the snow guns were operating at Cannon and it certainly makes it look like Christmas!
