Pilot Pete
Was in Florida last week for a visit. Caught up with Brenda and Peter at Kissimmee where Pete was scheduled to fly WWII fighter plane. A gift from Brenda. Attached is a little photo documenmtation. Pete gets a "5 minute" piloting class. The most interesting part was. "If things go bad I'm going to say jump, jump, jump, and on the third one I'm out of here."
In photo two he waves to the troops in the reviewing stand before taxiing to the runway for take off.
Last two pics are of an earlier mission where the two planes flew in formation.
We got to "sit in" on Pete's debriefing upon his return. He did great, flew the plane level and was able to quarter stop roll and loop the plane all on his own. (All recorded on a DVD for proof)
